Yunlin Power Plant
Taiwan

Product used = Perma-Clean SolarU

Challenge:

A large scale (5MW) solar farm was looking to increase their power generation efficiency and reduce their maintenance cycles to maximize profits on their electricity sales. A number of new panels had just been installed and the client was looking for optimal protection solutions.

Solution:

Perma-Clean Solar was applied to an experimental group of 18 solar panels and compared to five identical uncoated groups adjacent to the coated panels. Performance was measured from October to February. Within 5 months, the coated panels exhibited a 13% increase in power generation compared to uncoated panels.

ExxonMobil - OCONUS

Product used = PCO Unit

Challenge:

Interior air quality continued to deteriorate despite the implementation of high end air filtration systems.

Solution:

Drywired’s PCO Unit was introduced and air quality measurements were taken to measure the impact. Initial Total VOC count (T-VOC) was measured at 1646 μg which is far above the acceptable threshold limit of 300 μg. Twenty-four hours after the introduction of the DryWired PCO Unit, the T-VOC count was reduced to 255 ug. The concentration of T-VOC in the building was 645% greater prior to the installation of the PCO unit.
